Started in 2020 by Rosie Beech, Yorick Radio Productions is a podcast show all about performance and literary creativity, where listeners come together to enjoy the creative talent of a huge spectrum of authors. Based in Scotland, Yorick Radio Productions publishes work from around the world. We believe stories should be accessible to everyone, and we believe that podcasts can convey stories and voices in a powerful and compelling way. Audio’s flexibility, accessibility, and ability to captivate the audience takes us on wonderful journeys that stick in the mind and stay with us long after we’ve stopped listening.

All of our team are entertainers at heart, and our aim is to provide a safe, inclusive creative space that gives people the chance to build and share their wonderful and wild ideas. We’re committed to helping new writers of all kinds find support. From theatre to short stories to poetry, we analyse, appreciate and celebrate it all. Some of our regular segments include: 

Scintillating Stories: Our regular segment where we read the fantastic work submitted to us by writers, as well as some old classics.

Page Parle:  Our eclectic collection of writing advice. This segment often goes hand in hand with Scintillating Stories as a way to hear the author’s perspective on their work. We interview a variety of writers and performers as well as sharing our own thoughts on what makes good writing. 

Radio Revelry: This segment is dedicated to radio plays. We work with a host of amazing actors who can bring your stories to life. Tragedy, comedy, history: it all has a home here.
